To Bed, Perchance to Sleep

This is my hotel bed at the Langham in London. I love this bed and you know why? There are no children in it. Mind you, I like children and am particularly partial to my own for sleeping purposes, but they thrash, they awaken and ask you to draw pictures on their backs so they can get back to sleep. Sometimes they pee. All very uncomfortable. Note the cunning little reading lights poised above the headboard. Do you know what they mean? They mean you can read a book at night turned either way. And no one is disturbed. This does not mean I don't miss my husband. I just don't miss his sleeping retinas.
